  To thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization,actively support Beijing’s strategic initiative to develop itself as a Garden City,the 2026 National Students Garden Design and Construction Competition hereby launches its call for submissions.The competition aims to further enhance the innovative design and hands-on construction capabilities of students and professionals in landscape architecture and related fields,while fostering a spirit of craftsmanship characterised by dedication and the pursuit of excellence.A series of competition-related events is scheduled to take place from late September to mid-October 2026.
  本屆競賽選址于北京溫榆河公園花溪錦田片區。北京溫榆河公園作為一處文旅交融的大尺度生態空間，始終以生態為引領，將景觀特色與運營功能特色進行有機融合，緊扣“溫榆生活·潮玩文化”的戰略定位，園區深耕教育、露營、運動、潮玩等主題板塊，不斷拓展消費場景、豐富休閑活動，致力于營造時尚潮流、全齡友好的戶外生活氛圍，引領游客沉浸式體驗“一座公園與TA所倡導的生活方式”。
  This year’s competition will be held in the Huaxi Jintian area of Beijing Wenyuhe Park.As a large-scale ecological space integrating culture and tourism,Beijing Wenyuhe Park has consistently placed ecology at the heart of its development,organically combining distinctive landscapes with diverse operational functions.Guided by its strategic positioning of"Wenyuhe Living and Trend Culture",the park has developed thematic programmes centred on education,camping,sports,and trend-led recreation.By continuously expanding consumption settings and enriching leisure activities,it seeks to create a fashionable,vibrant,and age-inclusive outdoor living environment,inviting visitors to immerse themselves in"a park and the lifestyle it advocates".
  2023-2025年，全國大學生花園設計建造競賽經評估審批，連續三年入選《全國普通高校大學生競賽分析報告》（原《全國普通高校大學生競賽排行榜》）競賽目錄，成為中國高等教育學會認可的唯一以花園設計與建造為主題的全國性高校專業賽事。2026年，競賽再度啟航。我們誠摯邀請國內外風景園林及相關專業高校師生共同參與，以設計回應時代需求，以建造踐行專業理想，以青年創造力助力北京花園城市建設。
  From 2023 to 2025,following formal assessment and approval,the National Students Garden Design and Construction Competition was included for three consecutive years in the competition catalogue of the Analysis Report on National College Student Competitions,formerly known as the National College Student Competition Rankings.It is the only national collegiate professional competition recognised by the China Association of Higher Education that is dedicated specifically to garden design and construction.In 2026,the competition begins a new chapter.We sincerely invite faculty members and students from universities in China and abroad who specialise in landscape architecture and related disciplines to participate.Through design,we seek to respond to the needs of our time;through construction,to put professional ideals into practice;and through the creativity of young people,to contribute to the development of Beijing as a Garden City.

  競賽建造方案征集
  CALL FOR ENTRIES
  本次花園設計建造競賽以“花園里·遇見生活”為主題，要求參賽者設計并建造一座總占地面積不超過30m2的小型花園。建造內容應包括一處景觀構筑物及與之配套的花園空間，其中，構筑物占地不得超過規定范圍，其余空間用于植物配置及其他花園營造。構筑物與花園應作為一個整體進行設計，緊扣競賽主題，營造兼具生態價值、休閑功能與互動體驗的花園空間。
  Under the theme"In the Garden,meet Life",this Garden Design and Construction Competition invites participants to design and build a small garden with a total projected footprint of no more than 30 square metres.Each garden must comprise a landscape structure and an associated garden space.The footprint of the structure must remain within the prescribed limit,with the remaining area allocated to planting and other garden elements.The structure and garden should be conceived as an integrated whole and respond closely to the competition theme,creating a garden space that combines ecological value,recreational functions,and interactive experiences.
  競賽場地位于溫榆河公園東園花溪錦田，南接禮賢廣場，西側為溫榆·生活館，東側分布有溫榆河HOLE in ONE飛盤高爾夫、ZooLand動物王國等休閑項目。場地西南距1號門約300米，西北距2號門約350米，南距4號門約550米，交通便捷，周邊活動資源豐富，具有良好的人流導入條件和活動聯動潛力。
  The competition site is located in the Huaxi Jintian area of the eastern section of Beijing Wenyuhe Park.It adjoins Lixian Square to the south and the Wenyuhe Lifestyle Centre to the west,while nearby recreational attractions to the east include HOLE in ONE Wenyuhe Disc Golf and ZooLand Animal Kingdom.The site is approximately 300 metres northeast of Gate 1,350 metres southeast of Gate 2,and 550 metres north of Gate 4.It is readily accessible and surrounded by a wide range of recreational facilities,offering favourable conditions for attracting visitors and strong potential for coordination with nearby activities.
  主題闡述Theme Statement
  本次花園設計建造競賽主題秉承北京花園城市建設理念，鼓勵參賽者思考花園與日常生活的多元連接，營造兼具生態價值、使用功能與情感體驗的花園空間。設計應結合溫榆河公園的自然環境，關注人與自然、人與空間及人與人之間的互動關系，從社會、生態和生活需求等維度提出可持續的設計與建造構想。要求使用竹木等生物質材料及自選輔材搭建一個可進入或可參與的構筑小品。鼓勵采用可循環利用或可降解的建筑及植物材料，使用可拆卸、非永久性的結構基礎與連接方式，展示簡潔、低碳且具有推廣價值的花園營造方式。
  The theme of this Competition is aligned with Beijing’s vision for Garden City development.Participants are encouraged to explore the diverse connections between gardens and everyday life and to create garden spaces that combine ecological value,practical function,and emotional resonance.Design proposals should respond to the natural environment of Beijing Wenyuhe Park and consider the interactions between people and nature,people and space,and people themselves.Sustainable design and construction strategies should be developed in response to social,ecological,and everyday living needs.Each proposal must include an accessible or interactive landscape structure constructed primarily from bio-based materials,such as bamboo and timber,together with appropriate supplementary materials selected by the participants.The use of recyclable or biodegradable construction and plant materials is encouraged,along with demountable,non-permanent foundation and connection systems.Proposals should demonstrate simple,low-carbon,and replicable approaches to garden design and construction that have the potential for wider application.
  材料選擇Material Selection
  1）建造材料推薦從組委會提供的材料規格表中選擇（見附件），以竹木等天然、可再生、可循環利用或可降解的生物質材料為主，不得使用一次性或無法拆卸再利用的材料。
  2）作品主體構筑物應以生物質材料為核心，按重量計算的占比不得低于90%。成品螺栓、合頁、金屬固定件及其他標準化連接件僅可用于連接和固定，不計入材料重量核算。
  3）所用材料應為市場可直接采購的標準成品，或經簡單切割、裁切形成的半成品，確保按時運送到建造場地。禁止使用人工彎曲原竹、異形定制竹木構件、復雜非標構件等復雜定制化材料。
  4）建造現場不得進行焊接、澆筑、高溫塑形等復雜加工，作品應采用可拆卸、非永久性的裝配式基礎和連接方式完成搭建。
  5）花園應充分體現植物的魅力與重要作用，并考慮競賽活動秋季開幕的季相特征。植物材料僅限花卉和地被植物，鼓勵選用體現北京地域特色的鄉土植物，并須從組委會提供的植物材料表中選擇；不宜使用其他植物材料或設置水面。
  1）Construction materials are recommended to be selected from the Materials Specification List provided by the Organising Committee(see Appendix).Priority should be given to natural,renewable,recyclable,or biodegradable bio-based materials,such as bamboo and timber.Single-use materials and materials that cannot be dismantled and reused are prohibited.
  2）Bio-based materials must form the principal material of the main structure and account for no less than 90 per cent of its total material weight.Prefabricated bolts,hinges,metal fasteners,and other standardised connectors may be used solely for connection and fixing purposes and will be excluded from the material weight calculation.
  3）All materials should be standard products readily available on the market or semi-finished products produced through simple cutting or trimming,so that they can be delivered to the construction site on schedule.Complex customised materials,including artificially bent raw bamboo,specially shaped bamboo or timber components,and other complex non-standard elements,are prohibited.
  4）Welding,concrete pouring,high-temperature forming,and other complex processing methods are not permitted on site.All works must be assembled using demountable,non-permanent prefabricated foundation systems and connection methods.
  5）The garden should fully demonstrate the aesthetic and ecological value of plants,with due consideration given to the seasonal characteristics of the competition’s autumn opening.Plant materials are limited to flowering and ground-cover plants.The use of native species that reflect the regional character of Beijing is encouraged,and all plants must be selected from the Plant Materials List provided by the Organising Committee.Other types of plant material and water features should generally not be used.
  場地、材料體積及造價限定
  Site,material volume and cost limitations
  1）單個花園總占地面積（投影面積）不得超過30平方米；
  2）單個花園內主體結構投影面積不得超過20平方米；
  3）構筑物高度不得超過6米；
  4）應充分結合場地現狀、周邊植被條件及游人活動特征進行設計，避免對現狀植物和場地環境造成破壞；
  5）單個構筑物材料及相關加工費用不應超過2萬元（不包括植物材料）。
  1)The total projected footprint of each garden must not exceed 30 square meters.
  2)The projected footprint of the main structure within each garden must not exceed 20 square meters.
  3)The height of any structure must not exceed 6 meters.
  4)Designs should respond to the existing site conditions,surrounding vegetation,and patterns of visitor activity,while avoiding damage to existing plants and the site environment.
  5)The total cost of structural materials and related processing for each garden should not exceed RMB 20,000,excluding plant materials.
  建造要求Construction Requirements：
  1）建成的花園需在室外自然條件下擺放至少1個月以上；
  2）花園整體（特別是主體結構）應堅固、牢靠，不可通過澆筑基礎的方式與地面連接，需考慮整體結構在風雨天氣的候耐受性；
  3）主體結構應滿足拼裝、拆卸、運輸和再次組裝的要求。展覽結束后，優秀作品可根據組委會安排遷移至指定場地繼續展示；
  4）需考慮設計、安裝、使用和拆除過程中的安全性，避免造成意外傷害；
  5）請按照以上規則進行花園設計，否則將被取消參賽資格。
  1)The completed garden must remain outdoors under natural conditions for at least one month.
  2)The garden as a whole,particularly its main structure,must be stable and secure.It must not be fixed to the ground using cast-in-place foundations,and the structure should be designed to withstand wind,rain,and other outdoor weather conditions.
  3)The main structure must be suitable for assembly,dismantling,transportation,and reassembly.After the exhibition,selected outstanding works may be relocated to designated sites for continued display,subject to arrangements by the Organising Committee.
  4)Safety must be fully considered throughout the design,installation,use,and dismantling processes to prevent accidents and injuries.
  5)All designs must comply with the above requirements.Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the competition.

  競賽參賽人員
  PARTICIPANTS ELIGIBILITY
  本次競賽面向國內外風景園林及相關專業在校本科生及研究生，鼓勵跨國、跨校、跨專業合作參賽。
  所有組別均須以小組形式報名參加方案征集，小組人數限于5-7人（含5人與7人），每個小組須確定1-2名指導教師。同一參賽者僅可報名一組參賽，不可參與多組報名，且每組團隊只能提交1份作品，否則所在組均將被取消參賽資格。
  最終建造參賽名單需與競賽報名名單一致，不得更改，每個小組現場建造須不得超過2名指導老師與7名小組建造成員，所有入圍建造階段的作品需由團隊成員親自完成現場搭建。
  The competition is open to current undergraduate and graduate students majoring in landscape architecture and related fields,both domestically and internationally.Cross-border,cross-university and cross-disciplinary cooperation is strongly encouraged.
  All participants must register in teams of 5 to 7 members(including both ends).Each team shall appoint 1 to 2 instructors.Each participant may join only one team,and each team may submit only one entry.Any violation of these rules will result in the disqualification of all teams involved.
  The final construction team list must be identical to the registered team list and cannot be changed.On?site construction shall be carried out by no more than 2 instructors and 7 student members per team.All projects selected for the construction phase must be physically built by the team members themselves.

  花園季競賽與建造流程

  競賽報名與設計方案提交

  1.報名要求
  參賽學生自行組隊，并填寫報名表（見附件）。報名表須以Excel格式提交，文件命名為：“方案名稱-報名表.xlsx”，示例：生活方式花園-報名表.xlsx。
  2.方案格式要求
  （1）設計方案圖版
  設計方案須排布于一張橫向A0圖版上，圖版尺寸為高841mm、寬1189mm，采用JPG格式，分辨率為300 dpi，文件大小不超過30 MB。圖版內容應包括設計圖紙及設計說明，文字須采用中英雙語或英語。圖版中不得出現參賽者、指導教師、所屬學校、單位名稱及其他可能透露作者身份的信息。文件命名為：“方案名稱-1.jpg”，示例：生活方式花園-1.jpg。
  （2）材料清單圖版
  設計方案所采用的構筑材料表和植物材料表，包括所用主要材料、規格、數量、單價和總價，排布于一張橫向A3圖版上。圖版尺寸為高297mm、寬420mm，采用JPG格式，分辨率為300 dpi，文件大小不超過10MB。文件命名為：“方案名稱-2.jpg”，示例：生活方式花園-2.jpg。

  （4）材料造價表
  參賽團隊須根據附件3中提供的主材清單及價格提交一份材料造價表（見附件5），文件命名為：“方案名稱-材料造價表.xlsx”，示例：生活方式花園-材料造價表.xlsx。
  3.方案提交要求
  每個參賽團隊須提交以下4份文件：1）報名表；2）設計方案圖版；3）材料清單圖版；4）結構模型視頻；5）材料造價表。請將上述文件放到文件夾中，并統一壓縮，壓縮包以方案名稱命名，壓縮后的文件總大小不得超過50MB，并發送至組委會指定郵箱。

  競賽組委會將組織專家評審團，從設計創意和建造可行性等方面對參賽方案進行綜合評審，遴選出優勝方案進入現場建造階段。花園建成后，專家評審團將根據作品的實際建造效果進行現場評審，最終確定一等獎、二等獎和三等獎獲獎作品。
  The Competition Organising Committee will convene a panel of experts to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the submitted proposals,with particular consideration given to design creativity and construction feasibility.The outstanding proposals will be selected to proceed to the on-site construction stage.Upon completion of the gardens,the expert panel will evaluate the completed works on site based on their actual construction outcomes and determine the winners of the Grand Prize,First Prize,and Second Prize.
  2026年9月中下旬：
  方案細化、調整與深化圖紙繪制
  Mid to late September 2026:
  Detailed Design,Adjustment and Deepened Drawing
  在開始深化設計前，組委會將根據評委和合作單位的意見，要求入選團隊進行基于實際建造可行性的方案深化調整。由合作單位向入選團隊提供技術指導，直至完成深化圖紙繪制。
  入選建造階段的競賽類作品均須繪制深化圖紙，并調整和細化模型。圖紙和模型需提交組委會。深化圖紙文件為A3文本的PDF文件，包含平立剖深化圖，設計及建造說明、設計尺寸、材料做法、節點構造、細部大樣、預制構件、施工進度等。
  Before the detailed design phase begins,the Organizing Committee will require the selected teams to refine and adjust their proposals in response to comments from the jury and partner organizations,with particular consideration given to construction feasibility.The partner organizations will provide technical guidance throughout the process until the detailed design drawings are completed.
  All competition entries selected for the construction phase must prepare detailed design drawings and further refine their physical models.Both the drawings and the models must be submitted to the Organizing Committee.The detailed design package should be submitted as an A3-format PDF and include developed plans,elevations and sections,design and construction specifications,dimensions,material and construction methods,structural details,enlarged detail drawings,prefabricated components,and a construction schedule.
  2026年9月下旬-10月中旬：
  現場建造、評獎、頒獎儀式及展覽
  From late September to mid-October 2026:
  Completion of on-site construction,awarding ceremony and exhibition
  1）入選建造階段的團隊將于2026年9月下旬至10月中旬期間赴北京參加“溫榆河—北林”國際花園設計建造大賽開營儀式，并開展花園現場建造。建造周期為3天。
  2）參與現場建造的團隊須攜帶1:10比例的花園模型到場。
  3）現場建造完成后，組委會將組織國內外知名專家對建成作品進行現場評審，確定各獎項獲獎團隊。頒獎儀式上，特邀嘉賓將為獲獎團隊頒發證書。
  4）同期，建造現場還將開展“特邀園”的建造與展示。
  1)Teams selected for the construction stage will travel to Beijing between late September and mid-October 2026 to attend the opening ceremony of the Wenyuhe–BFU International Garden Design and Construction Competition and undertake the on-site construction of their gardens.The construction period will be three days.
  2)Each team participating in the on-site construction must bring a 1:10 scale model of its garden.
  3)Upon completion of the on-site construction,the Garden Season Organising Committee will convene a panel of distinguished experts from China and abroad to evaluate the completed gardens and determine the award winners.Certificates will be presented to the winning teams by invited guests at the awards ceremony.
  4)During the same period,invited gardens will also be constructed and exhibited on site.

  競賽參賽規則
  REGULATIONS
  1）參賽者同意并遵守本競賽通知的內容及競賽規則，違反規定者將被取消參賽資格；競賽組委會對競賽規則擁有最終解釋權。
  2）電子圖紙中不得出現任何有關設計者姓名和設計機構的文字或圖案，不符合規定者將被取消參賽資格。
  3）競賽組織方擁有參賽作品署名權以外的其它版權權利，包括但不限于發行權，展覽權，信息網絡傳播權，出版權等，設計方具有署名權。
  4）所有參賽者需確保自己所提交的作品為原創且未參加過其他競賽。
  5）參賽者不得接受競賽評委任何建議與指導，違反規定者將被取消參賽資格。
  6）現場建造及頒獎儀式等環節的具體日期可能受到不可抗力因素影響進行調整，請知悉。

  4)All participants must ensure that their submissions are original and have not been previously submitted to any other competitions.
  5）Participants must not receive any guidance from the competition jury.Violation of this rule will lead to disqualification.
  6）Please note that the dates of on-site construction and the award ceremony may be adjusted due to force majeure factors.
